Chuiba Bay Lodge is a luxury Lodge situated in Chuiba, Northern Mozambique, lingering along  an endless pristine and deserted beach – a natural tallaso-spa with its long sand banks and warm water pools by low tide – on a gorgeous reef area, only 7 km from Pemba Airport .
The Lodge is set on a 10 Hectares (ca. 25 acres) plot, with 400 mts front to the sea and 250mts deep, amongst pure nature, within the ZIT (tourism designated area), following the ARCO DO NORTE tourism development plan for the North of Mozambique done by USAID for the Mozambican Goverment.
 All the land on this ZIT area has been already concessioned for tourism development.

Chuiba Bay Lodge project is being developed with the same concept as Sentosa Resort in 
Seminiak Bali and the Lodge emerges as an African Eco Lodge with an Asian twist.

Chuiba Bay Lodge is, at the moment, composed of:

A Reception
, the Restaurant/Bar, a second Lounge, the Spa
, 10 luxury Bungalows
 and two swiming pools
. A further 8 Bungalows, a third pool (12mtsx8mts) and a new restaurant are in advanced stage of construction.

 The Lodge roof structures, doors and windows in Merbau, as well as bathroom porcelaines, furnishing and decor items have been imported from Bali. The construction of the Lodge has been done with ecologic materials, adapting it to the climate conditions, blending Asia with Africa and offering the utmost European comfort. 
 The water and electricity installations are of top quality.

Chuiba Bay Lodge is located in Chuiba, just a few km from the Town of Pemba. 
A seven  kilometre road connects Chuiba Bay Lodge  to Pemba Airport, welcoming international flights from Maputo, Dar-es-Salaam and Nairobi (LAM Mozambique airlines) and Johannesburg (LAM or South Africa AIRLINK), also Ethipioa air lines  with connections to the rest of the world.

About the cuisine, the Chuiba Bay Lodge offers Mediterranean cuisine with an African touch. Kabila Farijala is the Mozambican Chef trained by the own Lodge who has been there for 7 years.
The restaurant has a vast menu with several dishes that are really delicious.
The Macua women and children of Chuiba Village, swiftly conquer the sea at low tide, collecting clams, mussels and sea urchins – their daily curry – and the fragile dhows 
(no se que ibas a poner aquí) flowing with the tide, in which local men bring ashore fresh fish, lobster and prawns to prepare for the guests the 
delicious dishes that they love.

Fish and Prawn Kebab with tomato, pepper and onion, drizzled with aioli and lime served with savory rice or hand cut fries.

Seafood Cataplana (for two) steamed fish medaillons and prawns on a bed of tomato,pepper and onion sauce.

Prawn Tempura served with sweet chilli sauce and honey-ginger-soy sauce .

            Death by Chocolate, a decandent chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

And Pineaple créme Brûlée and the piña colada obviously everyone knows.
