Roman Řehák is a Czech digital artist, known primarily for his digital-paintings of celebrities. The base of Řehák‘s digital images, which he prints on giant canvases, are hight-quality photographs, often by other authors. The magic is hidden in his attempt to capture the character of the portrayed personalities themselves. Roman Řehák got to create portraits of celebrities suck as Karel Gott, Jan Saudek, Milos Forman, Pierce Brosnan, Jan Tríska, Antonio Banderas and many others. In addition, to his commissioned work, he is currently engaged in the creation of collages printing on non-traditional material.
SIN Studio Gallery Marbella invited different personalities and members of the press to the presentation of Roman Řehák for the first time in Spain. The exhibition is supported by Ambassador Libor Sečka and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Madrid and visitors can view till 31st March.

«ON THE RUGS», the name of this exhibition, offers more than fifteen unique works that showcase the artist’s digital creation technique which he then prints on rugs. Each work is unique in the world and that is why he is considered one of the most valuable artists. This technique – which was invented by Rehák in 2021 – is done with mobile applications and was presented for the first time in 2022, at the Municipal House in Prague, with great success, attended by both national and international personalities and celebrities.
«When I approached the heads of SIN Studio Gallery, Jiří Topinka and Sára Edris, and presented them with the idea of holding an exhibition, they did not hesitate for a minute and accepted the offer. I am very grateful and not only for the fact that they provided me with a space for the exhibition of my work, but for all cooperation in the preparation and development of the exhibition,» said Czech artist Roman Řehák.
