France is one of the most interesting countries to visit. It offers a great and diverse gastronomy and pastry and luxurious hotels to enjoy with the best services and an exquisite and personalized treatment. One of the hotels that I had the pleasure of visiting was the Hôtel de Crillon, which is one of the most elegant and oldest palaces in the world, located at the foot of the Champs Elysees at 10th, north of the Place de la Concorde.
This hotel belongs to the Rosewood Hotels, a chain that has the best luxury five-stars around the world.
The Hôtel de Crillon has 103 rooms and 44 suites and occupies one of the two identical stone buildings, divided by the Rue Royale and which were built in 1758 by the architect Louis-François Trouard by order of Louis XV.
In 1788, François-Félix-Dorothee Berton des Balbes, Count of Crillon, acquired the hotel and his family directed it until 1907 when it was renovated by the Société du Louvre controlled by the Taittinger family. Due to the solidarity tax on the fortune, the Taittinger family had to cede control of their hotels to the American group Starwood Capital in August 2005.
The exquisite cuisine offered by this hotel is due to a great team of Chefs with multiple talents, who opt for high quality culinary experiences.
You can enjoy delicious breakfasts, authentic brasserie food, irresistible sweets and unique moments to share.
I was able to enjoy an excellent coffee presented with the elegant taste of a five-star hotel.
I want to thanks all the charming professional team the facilities to do my post.
